I2D -- SanDisk Cruzer Freedom October 2005
Located in Tel Aviv, Israel, I2D is an industrial design firm specializing in a research-based approach for product development. I2D's extensive list of clients includes AT&T, Samsung, Motorola, Pepsi and Dell. Their latest release, designed by Safi Hefetz and Elisha Tal, is the SanDisk Cruzer Freedom, a specially designed USB drive used as a "digital backpack" for students on the go. Gone are the days of Milton's 500 lb. satchel! The unique Y-shaped memory stick is conveniently portable when used with either the fully integrated lanyard or keyring. Powered by SanDisk's FlashCP digital content technology, the Cruzer Freedom allows students secure access to copyrighted content such as textbooks, novels, study guides, and educational software. Star students can now study their little hearts out without the risk of corrective spine surgery.
